LL MCLANE and More Than Words Book Store

Hey everyone. If any of you are in the Watertown SD area come to More Than Words. LL McLane's book is in. Wow talking about myself in the third person. I hope if anyone is in the area that they would come by and check out the bookstore anyway. When the main bookstore that we had there closed, some local heroes (in my opinion) stepped up a nd opened More Than Words. Its my little heaven in a growing town like Watertown. My favorite sections are the Sci Fi, and YA books. Yeah I get it, its not some big book store, but you don't need some big bookstore. More Than Words is run by friendly people, and the workers are nice to. Ok I have to say that my friend Cassie works there. In all seriousness its a great place, and if they don't have what you want, you can order it. Its cute and convenient. Now if I can find a place like that for college books. Talk about paying over $300 for a semester in books. I am not going to do that. No thanks.

random rant stuff and what evers

Hey guys so I have not been as much, but people please spread this site around. Send it to people and what not. It's for a good cause.... Well ok it helps me a writer full fill a dream of getting a book out there, and sharing thoughts and idea. Causing people to think. Well I don't really know. I just need money for college, and this is a good way?? I hope... Yeah happy holidays...

College it comes with the territory

I thought I was not going to write another blog, but then something happened. Ok so does anyone really hate  student loans and such. I know I do. for one thing I cannot stand the fact that I had to have a parent plus loan. It is really hard being a student, and a writer. Things come up that you normally do not want to come up. Not to mention when you want to live off campus it is harder when you are only in your second year, or not there yet. I will be going on my second year after spring. Fun fun... well not really. The reason why it is harder is because someone has to approve you to live off campus. There is a rule that says you have to wait two year, but you can try to opt out of it. So I am going to try and do that.

spelling mistakes and such

So someone brought something to my attention. I spelled something wrong. Ok so I added an E to "More Than Lust" making the Than into Thane. I thought it was a bit funny so I thought I would share that. Nothing says "I read your blog." Like someone correcting you. I am English major, but things still do happen. I am ok with that. Well.. this is just a short blog I will be blogging later.... Most likely tomorrow.

Winter is finally here

Winter is finally on its way. I am not really a big fan of winter. Last year South Dakota really did not have a winter. Let see how long this fluffy white stuff is going to last. A good thing with the snow is that there is an excuse to drink hot cocoa, and or hot cider. I like putting a lot of marshmallows in mine. I have to make sure that there isn't any Gelatin in them. More Than Lust has a vegetarian/ Vegan theme. It does not go over the top about it, but it does mention it a view times. Being a Vegan is important to Fayt, and in Yours Truly is does have a little bit of importance to the storyline

Birthday wishes

I had a really great Birthday last night. Which I am really glad that that happened. Further more I am still working on the second book. I also have a couple more books that I want to release as well, and I do not know if I am going release Love Show's No Boundaries before the 2nd to More Than Lust. I am not going to release really to much about both of those tittles. They both are still in the works as of right now.

New ideas, and such

So I am sitting here, and I thinking what could be more interesting, and that is having actual people read my book, and burst about it on my blog. So I am thinking about having a few people that have read my book come and post what they think about it as they read it, and how it makes them feel so on and so forth. I want people to get the real feel of my book through what others have to say about. I guess I prefer real feed back from readers verses people that are getting paid. If that makes any sense. It's real, its honest, and they are people that others can relate to, rather than someone just telling you to buy there book. I am going to ask My friend Tonee Tales to post some stuff, when he is able to get a copy. Now Tale is honest, and he is getting started as well. So it will really be interesting to see what he has to think.

Welcome

Hey Everyone and Welcome to the world of L L McLane. I am pleased  if anyone decides to read my blog. I am now working on the second book of More Than Lust. Your's Truly won't be done for awhile, but this book takes place in a younger generation. It is going to be a bit different than the last, and you will get to see everyone before all grown up. I am planning on making this one longer. I wish I could have made the last one longer, but I couldn't. Any way I have a link to Amazon so if anyone is interested in checking out my first they can. There is also a LGBT book in the making, and a Fantasy book as well. So check out the blog there will be more, and check out More Than Lust, it will be grand.
